The I-condesk is an iconic proven office furniture design by Michiel van der Kley.
An office design that has been produced by ARCO since 2006 and has been developed and perfected in the smallest details for years.
In collaboration with Michiel van der Kley and ARCO, this office icon has been reinvented by the I-conicals; Carlo America and Jan-Willem Kessener.
Your I-condesk can now be ordered and customised to your specifications upon special request.
THE I-CONDESK.
The I-con desk is a timeless design, handcrafted from high-quality materials.
Its strong form and simple lines fit perfectly in the present time.
The quality of the materials and craftsmanship guarantee that the I-con desk will stand the test of time without showing it.
Quality as it should be.
Oiled solid wood combined with thermoformed Corian® form the body supported by 4 brushed stainless steel legs. The solid wood drawers of the icon desk are equipped with self-closing and soft-closing drawer slides.
The Corian® is polished all around and can be invisibly repaired if damage occurs in the future.
The oiled solid wood can be maintained with oil if necessary to keep the material looking new.
A bottle of oil is included with the desk.
And each icon desk is engraved with a unique number and year of production in combination with a designer’s signature on the bottom of the desk.
Drawers are available on the right side (as shown) or on the left side.

It began with the design of a desk with an integrated computer, where all the cables and components had to be concealed. This led to the creation of a table with a small structure on one side.
Van der Kley found this shape so appealing that he used it as the starting point for a series of desks, produced by ARCO since 2006, but now by I-CONICALS (See about us) .
The I-con desks are available in various finishes with one or two drawers.
The flowing lines of the design are beautifully emphasized by the Corian® material , which is ideal for such applications.
The cool, smooth Corian® complements the warm wood of the drawer fronts and the inside of the tabletop.
The I-con desk stands on elegantly shaped legs of polished stainless steel, which gives it a slightly light character.
