THE I-CONDESK.
I-Con Desk – Timeless Design, Uncompromising Quality
The I-Con Desk is a masterpiece of timeless design, meticulously handcrafted from high-quality materials. Its bold shape and clean, minimal lines make it a perfect fit for contemporary spaces. Built to last, the I-Conicals I-Con Desk withstands the test of time with enduring quality and craftsmanship.
Crafted from oiled solid wood and thermoformed Corian®, the desk is supported by four brushed stainless steel legs, ensuring stability and elegance. The solid wood drawers feature self-closing and soft-closing mechanisms for seamless functionality. The polished Corian® surface is fully repairable, while the solid wood can be maintained with oil—each desk includes a small oil container for upkeep.
Every I-Con Desk is uniquely engraved with a production number, year, and the designer’s signature, making it a truly exclusive piece. Drawers can be positioned on the left or right side to suit your preference.
It started with the design for a desk with an integrated computer where all wires and parts had to be tucked away. In this way, the form of a table with a small structure on one side was created.
Van der Kley liked this shape so much that he used it as a starting point for a series of office tables, which were since 2006 produced by ARCO, but are now produced by I-CONICALS (See about us). The I-condesks are available in various finishes with one or with two drawers. The flowing lines in the design are beautifully emphasized by the material Corian® which is ideal for such applications. The cool, smooth Corian® compliments the warm timber of the drawer fronts and the inner part of the tabletop. The I-condesk stands on elegantly shaped legs of polished stainless steel, which gives it a somewhat light footed character.
